La Motte Wine Estate
T he brief was for an economical but signature building that looked different from its industrial neighbours. A specific requirement was that all visitors to the complex should be able to view the production process going on within the building, en-route to the entrance.
The requirement was for a brand new factory to assemble the imported motor components in the most stringent temperature-controlled and dust-free environment, with all building standards equal to those of their then most recent installation in Hollola, Finland. The result is a complex that would seem as at home on an up-market university campus as in an industrial park.
