Tintagel Guesthouse

T he East half of this twin-set of 1881 Victorian semi-detached houses was in a bad state, and it was originally acquired to protect our adjacent architectural offices. Located in the heart of the fashionable restaurant district of Kloof Street, it lent itself to conversion into a modest guesthouse. Its ruined state inspired us to restore and modify it with details authentic to its period, and in recent years it has become so successful that it has eclipsed portions of its neighbour.
